For now, Cascade only have one reading / writing direction that is horizontal: left to right for time. Some, or all elements, could also have properties that are dedicated to another axis, such as top to bottom or right to left. Elements can also have a tag (a graphic property) that adds or replace the reading system it is part of. This would allow multiple time dimensions and to create complex compositions with few elements. It’s still raw ideas, but those are in my head since a couple of months and needed to be written down somewhere.
